1...PAYMENT: Scottish Food Store accepts the following credit and debit cards; MasterCard, Visa. All these cards are accepted by our payment gateway. If you are unhappy with this method of payment we are happy to accept payment by cheque through the post.
2...SECURITY: Scottish Food Store currently uses a Payment Gateway provided by Google International LLC and operated by GPL Payment Limited, a company incorporated in England (Company No. 05903713), whose registered office is at Belgrave House, 76 Buckingham Palace Road, London SW1W 9TQ. GPL is authorised and regulated by the Financial Services Authority as an electronic money ("E-money") issuer and is entered into the FSA register with register number 462517. GPL is a subsidiary of Google International, LLC ("Google"). for full details visit the Google Wallet website.
4...PACKAGING: Unless otherwise stated our products are packed in cardboard outers with internal void filling.
5...DELIVERY METHODS: Deliveries within the United Kingdom are made by the Royal Mail or ParcelForce. For international deliveries the Royal Mail or ParcelForce are utilised.
6...DELIVERIES: Delivery time to most addresses in the UK is normally 1 to 2 days. Delivery time to international destinations will vary but is normally 5 to 7 days.
7...RETURNS PROCEDURE: In the unlikely event of the goods being found to be faulty please contact us. Faulty or damaged goods must be reported to us within 2 days of delivery, and a refund or a replacement will be arranged with the customer.
8...DELIVERY CHARGES: These are automatically added to the cost of the products as part of the process of submitting an order.
9...INSURANCE: All deliveries are insured by Scottish Food Store.
10...LOCAL TAXES AND DUTIES: Are the responsibility of the shopper in the country of destination. Scottish Food Store cannot be held responsible for any delays in Overseas delivery due to collections of these duties or taxes, or delays at Customs.
11...VALUE ADDED TAX(VAT): Where applicable, is included in the cost of each product.
12...ORDER CONFIRMATIONS: Once you have submitted an order using our on-line shopping system, you will receive a confirmation e-mail. Providing the goods have not been dispatched orders can be cancelled at any time by contacting us. Click "Contact Us" Once goods have been delivered, we are unable to have orders cancelled or returned, unless the goods are found to be faulty.
13...ORDER ENQUIRIES: To follow up on the delivery of a product please e-mail us or ring us on 01358 743540. We are open 6 days a week 9.00am-5.00pm GMT. Calls are charged at the standard rate.
14...DATA PROTECTION: Scottish Food Store will not disclose customer information, our database remains confidential to the company. Scottish Food Store work within the guidelines set-out in the Data Protection Act 1998.
15...ALCOHOL : Persons legally permitted to do so, by local licensing regulations, may order products containing alcohol . Because of Customs regulations no alcohol can be sent to the USA or Canada.
16...CANCELLATION. Orders may be cancelled at any time prior to dispatch by e-mail or phone.
17...UNFORSEEN CIRCUMSTANCES: While every effort will be made to meet customers demands, cancellations or variations may be necessary as a result of Act of God, War, Strike, Lockout, Labour Dispute, Fire, Flood, Drought or other causes beyond the control of Scottish Food Store.
18...COMPLAINTS : If you have a complaint, please contact us immediately by e-mail or by phone on 01358 743540 9.00am-5.00pm GMT 6 days a week. calls charged at the standard rate. Complaints will be acknowledged within 24 hours of receipt, and will be dealt with as speedily as possible.
19...The Scottish Food Store reserve the right to refuse sale of goods.
20...LAW: These terms and conditions are governed by Scottish Law. By ordering products from our site you indicate your acceptance of these terms and conditions under the jurisdiction of the Courts of Scotland.
